Hallmarking

BIS certified, every piece

What the hallmark means

Every gold piece we sell carries a BIS hallmark, applied at a government-recognised assaying centre, not by us. It certifies the purity of the metal independently.

The mark includes the BIS logo, the purity in carat and fineness, and a six-digit alphanumeric HUID unique to that piece.

Where to find it

On rings and bangles the mark is inside the shank. On chains it is on the clasp or a dedicated tag. It is deliberately small; a loupe helps.

Diamonds

Solitaires above 0.30ct ship with an independent IGI or GIA report stating cut, colour, clarity and carat. The report number is laser-inscribed on the girdle of the stone.
