About Onvisha

Onvisha began in a single workshop in Jaipur with four bench jewellers and a simple rule: make the piece properly, or do not make it at all. That rule still decides everything we do.

We work almost entirely to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a season to turn. When you place an order, a bench jeweller is assigned to it, and the piece is cut, set, polished and hallmarked before it is packed.

Every stone is bought as a lot and graded in-house. Anything that does not meet our standard is returned rather than set into a lower-priced line.

Our gold is refined to 22K, 18K and 14K depending on the piece. Bands and everyday chains are made heavier than the market norm, because thin gold wears through and we would rather not repair it in two years.

The atelier and our head office are both in Jaipur. We do not operate retail stores; the saving goes into the metal and the stone rather than the rent.
